EcoVet Eco-Lax is a gentle, natural homeopathic medicine formulated to regulate bowel function and relieve constipation in animals. By supporting normal digestive balance, it helps ease discomfort, reduce flatulence, and address common bowel-related concerns.

Eco-Lax is particularly useful for pets prone to constipation, chronic digestive sluggishness, or those suffering from conditions such as anal gland impaction or hairballs in cats. It can also be used as supportive care for pre-diagnosed chronic colic.

Use in Conjunction With

Dosage & Administration

Unless otherwise directed, give 3–5 times daily. Reduce frequency as symptoms improve. Administer at least 10 minutes away from meals or other remedies for maximum efficacy. If using multiple EcoVet remedies, allow 10 minutes between each.

Preparation: Eco-Lax contains 20% ethanol and must be diluted before use. Water is preferred, but milk may be used if not tolerated. As a last resort, give on a small treat (though this may delay absorption). When added to drinking water, refresh daily.

Dilution & Recommended Doses:

Species Directions for Use
Fish (ornamental) 1 drop per 20 litres of tank water
Small Birds (parrots, pigeons) 1 drop per 20 ml drinking water. A few drops can also be given directly.
Medium Birds (chickens, ducks, geese) 2 drops per 20 ml drinking water
Large Birds (ostriches) 4 drops per 20 ml drinking water
Kittens, Puppies & Small Mammals (hamsters, rabbits, mice) 5 drops in 5 ml water, stand a few minutes. Give 0.25 ml directly, or add 10 drops to 100 ml drinking

Our return policy lasts 7 calendar days.

If you’d like to exchange or return a product within that period, we’ll happily credit you for the cost of the item (excluding shipping costs both ways).

We unfortunately cannot accept any returns or exchanges after 7 calendar days, and the matter will be considered closed.

When sending items back, please only use clear tape to seal boxes — no masking, brown, or courier adhesive tape will be accepted.
